Christiano Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dino Veiga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodriguinho Galvão having to make a save. The wind increased when Dino Veiga made the kick off in the second half. Christiano Medeiross short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Anísio Damião to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Irati SS's zone, Christiano Medeiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anísio Damião came out of the goal and Christiano Medeiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christiano Medeiros got in the 62nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Anísio Damião handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Christiano Medeiros fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Anísio Damião, passed just outside the right post. After 70 minutes of play, Irati SS's Erasmo Pires made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodriguinho Galvão was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute, Irati SS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Christiano Medeiros fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Irati SS's Adelino Rocha got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 82ndth minute of the game Dino Veiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Joinvile AD's Rodriguinho Galvão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Dino Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Irati SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dino Veiga couldn't finish the play. After having played for 89 minutes, Christiano Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joinvile AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christiano Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Branco in the 92nd minute of play forced Irati SS's goalkeeper Anísio Damião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Irati SS's Anísio Damião proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Irati SS from getting a goal against them. Romeu Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joinvile AD played a much better game than Irati SS and deserved their victory. The Irati SS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
