Felipe Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Emerson Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Basílio Nóbrega kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving João Adolfo Neto. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. When Coringão's Hjalmar Forsberg in 17 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. João Adolfo Neto guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. João Adolfo Neto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliks Zahemski's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Hjalmar Forsberg scored 2-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Adolfo Neto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Argerita's João Adolfo Neto got control of the ball when Hjalmar Forsberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Adolfo Neto made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Hjalmar Forsberg sent off a good shot on target. João Adolfo Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliks Zahemski in the 32nd minute of the match. Coringão's Emerson Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Corrêa in the 33rd minute of play. Franklin Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Coringão's Feliks Zahemski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Adolfo Neto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 46 minutes, Felipe Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argerita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Corrêa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felipe Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Franklin Furlan made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Hjalmar Forsberg made a precise shot to the right of João Adolfo Neto. Argerita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 59th minute, Hjalmar Forsberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coringão fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Coringão's Emerson Barbosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Coringão from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute of the match, Ruy Linares tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emerson Barbosa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Felipe Corrêa came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Argerita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Corrêa couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the match, Coringão's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Furlan came free, but Emerson Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Hjalmar Forsberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Adolfo Neto. Argerita's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hjalmar Forsberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Franklin Furlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Coringão had played much better football throughout.
