Oséias Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlindo Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 6th match minute, W.H Sanitarium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Souza to maneuver through the defense. Régis Peres charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Régis Peres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th minute, Régis Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 17 minutes, Arlindo Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salesopolis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arlindo Tasso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. W.H Sanitarium's Oséias Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Fonseca in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, W.H Sanitarium's goal looked a bit too open when Arlindo Tasso came free, but Oséias Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Luiz Guilherme de Queiroz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonas Cearense. Salesopolis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Guilherme de Queiroz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Oséias Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner dos Santos in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Arlindo Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséias Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gino Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Cearense having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Luiz Guilherme de Queiroz lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Jonas Cearense. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Rodolfo Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salesopolis's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oséias Proença breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodolfo Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Arlindo Tasso came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Salesopolis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arlindo Tasso couldn't finish the play. Oséias Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Fonseca in the 46th minute of the match.

After a defensive mix-up in W.H Sanitarium's zone, Arlindo Tasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oséias Proença came out of the goal and Arlindo Tasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arlindo Tasso struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Oséias Proença didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salesopolis. W.H Sanitarium's Oséias Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlindo Tasso in the 59th minute of play. Jonas Cearense came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by W.H Sanitarium's Luiz Guilherme de Queiroz. But to his dismay, Luiz Guilherme de Queiroz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Rodolfo Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Oséias Proença tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Fonseca got free with Oséias Proença in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arlindo Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Oséias Proença tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oséias Proença having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Rodolfo Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oséias Proença was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, W.H Sanitarium could leave the field as winners, despite Salesopolis having more of the ball for most of the match.
