Juan Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonsinho Meirelles having to interfere. David Ramalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Correia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Guilherme Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Joel Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Almeidas's David Ramalho got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute Akamas Rigatos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Correia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Ramalho went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, David Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almeidas's supporters rose to their feet, but David Ramalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Correia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Akamas Rigatos made a kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Almeidas's Akamas Rigatos made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Correia was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Sapataria EC's zone, David Ramalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Correia came out of the goal and David Ramalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Sapataria EC's goal looked a bit too open when David Ramalho came free, but Joel Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Joel Correia managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Almeidas's Akamas Rigatos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. David Ramalho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joel Correia came out and tried to block the shot, but David Ramalho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 64th minute. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sapataria EC's goalkeeper Joel Correia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71st minute of the match, David Ramalho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joel Correia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 73rd minute, David Ramalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Akamas Rigatos could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Joel Correia however easily saved by the left post. When %teams%'s David Ramalho was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 0-7 just inside the left pole, 84 minutes into the game. Joel Correia was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Cléber Borges hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Jorge Tepedino hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Almeidas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sapataria EC.
