After a rather tough play, Sinistro F.C's Sandrinho Galvão got a free kick in the 10th minute. Celsinho Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anderson Paranaense in the 12th minute of play. Fred Gaúcho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Douglas Sampaio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. If Fred Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Sandrinho Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Carlos Fernando Tinoco fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sinistro F.C's protests and gave Carlos Fernando Tinoco a yellow card for diving instead. Carlos Fernando Tinoco hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the game, Finlandia AD's Belchior Vergílio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celsinho Nascimento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 26th minute Sandrinho Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Fred Gaúcho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Douglas Sampaio, 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, Sinistro F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson Paranaense came free, but Celsinho Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandrinho Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Anderson Paranaense made the kick off in the second half. Fred Gaúcho took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Douglas Sampaio. Douglas Sampaio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 58 minutes, Fred Gaúcho made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Finlandia AD's Douglas Sampaio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Celsinho Nascimento made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Belchior Vergílio sent off a good shot on target. Finlandia AD's Belchior Vergílio got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Belmiro Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Anderson Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Celsinho Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Fernando Tinoco lost his temper 85 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 84th minute, one of Sinistro F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sinistro F.C. Fábio Barbosa scored 3-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celsinho Nascimento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Celsinho Nascimento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Belchior Vergílio in the 95th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Belchior Vergílio got free with Celsinho Nascimento in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sinistro F.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while Finlandia AD had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
