Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) Finlandia AD's Anderson Paranaense started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ciro Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anderson Paranaense in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cunhaporanga's Dida Amorim got a free kick in the 5th minute. Fábio Barbosa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Anderson Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Anderson Paranaense sped through Cunhaporanga's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ciro Terra. After 21 played minutes Cunhaporanga got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Monteiro. In the 30th minute, Luís Eduardo Ceresso made a precise shot to the right of Douglas Sampaio. Finlandia AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Belchior Vergílio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Anderson Paranaense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Ciro Terra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Severino Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Nogueira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ciro Terra made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Belchior Vergílio sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute Luís Eduardo Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belchior Vergílio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Ciro Terra made a huge save. In the 61st minute of the match Giovanni de Carvalho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Douglas Sampaio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Nogueira in the 63rd minute of play forced Finlandia AD's goalkeeper Douglas Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Luís Eduardo Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cunhaporanga's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Eduardo Ceresso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Douglas Sampaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severino Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Douglas Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Belchior Vergílio put it in 2-5 from a short distance just to the right of Ciro Terra. Luís Eduardo Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Cunhaporanga's Luís Eduardo Ceresso got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 96thth minute of the game Anderson Paranaense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cunhaporanga's Ciro Terra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Finlandia AD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
