Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Geovânio Meirelles took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Viveiros EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvinho Rossi to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Viveiros EC's Fernão Vergílio got control of the ball when Jânio Galvão tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benjamin Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. When Viveiros EC's Geovânio Meirelles in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inubia's goalie prevented a goal. After 11 played minutes Viveiros EC got a freekick which was hit by Geovânio Meirelles. After 15 minutes, Geovânio Meirelles made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Inubia's Celso Pirani tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gildo Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernão Vergílio having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Viveiros EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gildo Torres came free, but Fernão Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Viveiros EC's Silvinho Rossi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Silvinho Rossi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Viveiros EC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Silvinho Rossi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Viveiros EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! Naldo Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Horácio Moreno struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Celso Pirani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viveiros EC. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Horácio Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viveiros EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Horácio Moreno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Pirani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Horácio Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Pirani having to interfere. Celso Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Moraes in the 37th minute of play. Horácio Moreno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celso Pirani having to make a save. Viveiros EC's Noel Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donatello Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Celso Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gildo Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gildo Torres made a kick off. When Inubia's Gildo Torres in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Viveiros EC's goalie prevented a goal. Horácio Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horácio Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Celso Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horácio Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Pirani having to interfere. Gildo Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Fernão Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Noel Moraes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Celso Pirani came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Viveiros EC's Donatello Paranaense. But to his dismay, Donatello Paranaense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Viveiros EC's Horácio Moreno got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute Donatello Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Gildo Torres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernão Vergílio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. If Horácio Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inubia's Celso Pirani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Inubia from getting a goal against them. If Horácio Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Pirani was a little too slow when Noel Moraes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 2-4. Viveiros EC's Christian da Silva was substituted for Elias Vides. In the 90th minute, Horácio Moreno reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Celso Pirani. The goal made the score 2-5. Horácio Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Pirani having to interfere. Viveiros EC played a much better game than Inubia and deserved their victory. The Inubia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
