The wind increased when Vítor Vergílio made the kick off in the second half. Adelino Batista in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. If Caetano Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 56 played minutes Mocidade Alegre got a freekick which was hit by Gilvan Cosme. Samuca Dias's late challenge caught a Palotina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuca Dias helped the player get up and apologised. Arlindo de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Dedé Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Cabral in the 66th minute of the match. Adelino Batista succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 86th playminute.
