The crowd rose to their feet as Tuiutinga's Oswaldo França slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geraldo Mendonça. That made the score 0-1 after 70 minutes of play. After 76 minutes of play, Maynart's Lucas da Rocha made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iuri Nóbrega was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the game, Alexandre Paraíba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Geraldo Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alexandre Paraíba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Geraldo Mendonça made a huge save. The Tuiutinga supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tuiutinga would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
