Cristóvão Bertassi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldo Munhoz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. After 7 played minutes GUERREIRO got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Bertassi. After a defensive mix-up in GUERREIRO's zone, Pedro Luiz Romero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dino Severo came out of the goal and Pedro Luiz Romero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dino Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luiz Romero in the 19th minute of the match. Edgar Cardoso hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Giuseppe de Carvalho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dino Severo was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Allan Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Dino Severo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arizona SC's Giuseppe de Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giuseppe de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giuseppe de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristóvão Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Osvaldo Munhoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giuseppe de Carvalho to strike the kick off in the second half. Dino Severo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe de Carvalho in the 53rd minute of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Edgar Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GUERREIRO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Cardoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dino Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Edgar Cardoso hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe de Carvalho in the 66th minute of play forced GUERREIRO's goalkeeper Dino Severo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GUERREIRO's Edgar Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Luiz Romero hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Osvaldo Munhoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Cardoso in the 73rd minute of play. Dino Severo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
