Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Amauri Alves made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmundo Vander during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes Quarenta got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Vander. Pedrinho Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Alvarenga in the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Breno Azevedo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Quarenta's Pedrinho Bertassi. Pedrinho Bertassi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 9th minute, Jeremias Sampaio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Patativa SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Pedrinho Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo Damião in the 15th minute of the match. Breno Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Pedrinho Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmundo Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Patativa SC's Horácio Correia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Patativa SC from getting a goal against them. Zézinho Brodel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horácio Correia having to make a save. 36 minutes into the match, Quarenta's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Azevedo came free, but Pedrinho Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Gustavo Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Breno Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Pedrinho Bertassi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patativa SC. After 44 minutes, Chiquinho Ferraz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quarenta and the Patativa SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Chiquinho Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giovanni Maranhense lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When the match had been going on for 48 minutes, Quarenta's Virgílio Rosado got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Horácio Correia.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmílson Pinho made a kick off. Horácio Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Pinho in the 54th minute of the match. Breno Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Pedrinho Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedrinho Bertassi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kiko Alvarenga in the 64th minute. Isaltino Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Kiko Alvarenga got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Kiko Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedrinho Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaltino Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedrinho Bertassi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kiko Alvarenga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 80 minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Breno Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Pedrinho Bertassi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Isaltino Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patativa SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaltino Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrinho Bertassi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Quarenta's zone, Luiz Gustavo Damião stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedrinho Bertassi came out of the goal and Luiz Gustavo Damião tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zézinho Brodel during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Quarenta getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Zézinho Brodel hit a great ball. Patativa SC played a much better game than Quarenta and deserved their victory. The Quarenta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
