Alfredinho Tinoco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaroslaw Matuch went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaroslaw Matuch in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredinho Tinoco saved Galaxy Campinas from getting behind. When Gualter Breckenfeld fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galaxy Campinas's protests and gave Gualter Breckenfeld a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Gualter Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the game, Comandatuba AD's Antônio Freire nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredinho Tinoco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Jaroslaw Matuch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute, Kléberson Souza made a precise shot to the right of Alfredinho Tinoco. Galaxy Campinas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 42nd minute Jaroslaw Matuch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredinho Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaroslaw Matuch in the 43rd minute of the match. Jaroslaw Matuch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Tinoco having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gualter Breckenfeld made a kick off. A collision led to Comandatuba AD getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Antônio Freire hit a great ball. Renato Rosado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredinho Tinoco having to make a save. A hard shot 57 in the game by Jaroslaw Matuch from a close distance when the talented Alfredinho Tinoco managed to make a qualified save. Galaxy Campinas's players were relieved. If Gualter Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Comandatuba AD fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Comandatuba AD's Jaroslaw Matuch looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kléberson Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Alfredinho Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Paulo Favoretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaroslaw Matuch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Tinoco having to interfere. Comandatuba AD's Federico Vilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanderson Guerra in the 77th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Wanderson Guerra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Federico Vilar. Comandatuba AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wanderson Guerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. When Fred dos Santos fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galaxy Campinas's protests and gave Fred dos Santos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Galaxy Campinas's Fred dos Santos got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 83 minutes, Antônio Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Comandatuba AD and the Galaxy Campinas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, Comandatuba AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Freire to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Gildo Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Comandatuba AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Gildo Pombal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredinho Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inácio de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Alfredinho Tinoco managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Comandatuba AD's Gildo Pombal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gildo Pombal had several of the Galaxy Campinas's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 89 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-6 score and a disappointed Alfredinho Tinoco as he didn't even see the shot coming. Alfredinho Tinoco was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Gildo Pombal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gildo Pombal really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. The Galaxy Campinas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Comandatuba AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
