Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alfredinho Ortiz started the match with the kick off. Alfredinho Ortiz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Iuri Damião 6 minutes into the match. Alfredinho Ortizs short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Iuri Damião to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 14th minute, Zézinho Goiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CasalGremista fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Túlio Barbosa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 18 played minutes CasalGremista got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Donatello. Caio Borges's late challenge caught a Mosquitinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caio Borges helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mosquitinho booed when CasalGremista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caio Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Maia in the 25th minute of play forced Mosquitinho's goalkeeper Walmir Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iuri Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Túlio Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Alfredinho Ortiz made a precise shot to the right of Iuri Damião. CasalGremista's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Alfredinho Ortiz in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Iuri Damião, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Caio Borges was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 36 minutes had been played. In the 37th minute, Caio Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Túlio Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zézinho Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Romero having to interfere. Iuri Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Túlio Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zézinho Goiano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredinho Ortiz in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iuri Damião prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iuri Damião stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredinho Ortiz's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. A collision led to CasalGremista getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Sílvio Maia hit a great ball. Alfredinho Ortiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Mosquitinho's Alfredinho Ortiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iuri Damião narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 69 minutes of play, Mosquitinho's Miguel Queirós made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iuri Damião was left in no man's land by his defense there! CasalGremista's Iuri Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho Ortiz in the 73rd minute of play. Alfredinho Ortiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iuri Damião. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredinho Ortiz ran back to his position shaking his head. Iuri Damião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Túlio Barbosa in the 78th minute of play. Iuri Damião stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredinho Ortiz's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 88th minute, Alfredinho Ortiz made a precise shot to the right of Iuri Damião. CasalGremista's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 95th minute Alfredinho Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iuri Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iuri Damião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredinho Ortiz in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Mosquitinho players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
