In the 16th minute of the match, Valério Nunes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Basílio Neiva saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Basílio Neiva successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Valério Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Bola De Neve defense, Fernandinho Pitta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basílio Neiva. The Bola De Neve fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basílio Neiva should have stopped the shot. Thiago Quintal hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Basílio Neiva was a little too slow when Fernandão de Castro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-0. Zé Carlos Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Régis Brodel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Carlos Cerezo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Régis Brodel having to make a save. Fernandinho Pitta made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 35thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Basílio Neiva would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 37th minute Valério Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Pacia's Basílio Neiva threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fernandão de Castro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dráusio Teles got free with Basílio Neiva in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Pacia's Basílio Neiva threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fernandão de Castro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fernandinho Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Basílio Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Carlos Cerezo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bola De Neve's Basílio Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valério Nunes in the 56th minute of play. Leandro Carneiro hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 62 played minutes, Pacia's Thiago Quintal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Basílio Neiva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pacia reached it. 64 minutes into the match, Bola De Neve's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Pitta came free, but Basílio Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basílio Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valério Nunes in the 65th minute of play. Basílio Neiva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valério Nunes went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Bola De Neve's Basílio Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandão de Castro in the 73rd minute of play. Zé Carlos Cerezo struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Régis Brodel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal.
