With a left leg Donato Tasso saved Muraja FC from getting behind. When Muraja FC's Pedro Paulo Simões in 5 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Pedro Luiz Amorim guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Giovanni Sampaio hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Donato Tasso came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Estrias's Luizão Berger. But to his dismay, Luizão Berger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Donato Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Paulo Simões might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Luiz Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Paulo Simões ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Paulo Simões succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 22nd playminute. Donato Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizão Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Pedro Paulo Simões's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Luiz Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Pedro Paulo Simões who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Pedro Luiz Amorim when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Paulinho Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Pedro Paulo Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muraja FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Paulo Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Luiz Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Diogo Luz came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Muraja FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diogo Luz couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, Estrias's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Paulo Simões. Igor de Godoy's late challenge caught a Estrias's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor de Godoy helped the player get up and apologised. Igor de Godoy kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Pedro Paulo Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luizão Berger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Pedro Paulo Simões made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Estrias's Pedro Luiz Amorim tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 58 in the game by Victor Antunes from a close distance when the talented Donato Tasso managed to make a qualified save. Muraja FC's players were relieved. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luizão Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Estrias's Adalmo Moura shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 74th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Donato Tasso but with some difficulty. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Estrias! Edinho Eger shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Paulo Simões in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Luiz Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 86 played minutes Estrias got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Sampaio. After 89 minutes Estrias's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edinho Eger who took care of the corner kick. Estrias's attack was well implemented in the 95th minute, but when Victor Antunes was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick.
