Aílton Moreno was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Dênis Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garapua's supporters rose to their feet, but Dênis Tasso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aílton Moreno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Garapua's zone, Benedito Custódio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albertino Azevedo came out of the goal and Benedito Custódio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, one of Garapua:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Garapua. After 30 played minutes KevinK2 got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Queiroz. Aílton Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reginaldo Matos in the 43rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, KevinK2's Valério Rosa got a free kick in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joélson Saldanha to make the kick off. When Wiliam Correia fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KevinK2's protests and gave Wiliam Correia a yellow card for diving instead. 57 minutes into the game, Wiliam Correia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Albertino Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tibúrcio Costa hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Garapua's goal looked a bit too open when Joélson Saldanha came free, but Albertino Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aílton Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reginaldo Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garapua's Albertino Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joélson Saldanha in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of Garapua booed when KevinK2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiliam Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 73 minutes, Reginaldo Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garapua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reginaldo Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th match minute, KevinK2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam Correia to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Reginaldo Matos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aílton Moreno, 3-2. Bernardinho Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Miguel de Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the game, Dênis Tasso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Aílton Moreno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wiliam Correia hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. KevinK2 succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Garapua had controlled the match.
