Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rômulo Messias kicked off to start the match. Percival Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reginaldo Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Reginaldo Fonseca notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Penúltimo do Ranking's Percival Meireles. Percival Meireles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd minute, Reginaldo Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Percival Meireles was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Percival Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reginaldo Fonseca in the 26th minute of the match. Aloísio Correia took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Percival Meireles. Percival Meireles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 31st minute, Durvalino Cavalcante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Percival Meireles was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. João Vítor Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Bernardo Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Penúltimo do Ranking defense, Reginaldo Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Percival Meireles. The Penúltimo do Ranking fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Percival Meireles should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Durvalino Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Umburana's supporters rose to their feet, but Durvalino Cavalcante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Percival Meireles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Percival Meireles came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Umburana's Reginaldo Fonseca. But to his dismay, Reginaldo Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Penúltimo do Ranking's Percival Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Lopez in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute Reginaldo Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percival Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Umburana's Aloísio Correia suffered a sore knee after 55 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 55 minutes, Dinei Borges mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Penúltimo do Ranking and the Umburana players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes Penúltimo do Ranking got a freekick which was hit by Dinei Borges. Thanks to some nice moves Ademar Oliveira could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Percival Meireles however easily saved by the left post. Umburana were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Penúltimo do Ranking's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Willian Linhares took the corner. The corner led Umburana's Willian Linhares to fire away a dangerous shot which Percival Meireles despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Percival Meireles was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Reginaldo Fonseca capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Reginaldo Fonseca really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reginaldo Fonseca got free with Percival Meireles in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Percival Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durvalino Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Percival Meireles managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Umburana's Reginaldo Fonseca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Percival Meireles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reginaldo Fonseca in the 79th minute. When the final whistle sounded Umburana left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Penúltimo do Ranking.
