Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Giuseppe Brasil got the match started through his kick off. After 4 minutes of play, Derribadinha's Giuseppe Brasil made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvinho Corrêa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silvinho Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio Camargo in the 7th minute of the match. Frédson Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Téo Braga having to interfere. Metropolitano's Silvinho Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Camargo in the 14th minute of play. 0-2 became the score in the 16th minute when Giuseppe Brasil elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Derribadinha booed when Metropolitano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cipriano Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Derribadinha's Téo Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcinho Tavares in the 28th minute of play. Silvinho Corrêa came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Derribadinha's Giuseppe Brasil. But to his dismay, Giuseppe Brasil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Faustão Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Frédson Moura fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Metropolitano's protests and gave Frédson Moura a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Metropolitano got a freekick which was hit by Frédson Moura. Téo Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcinho Tavares in the 40th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Téo Braga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Renan Penha hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Jonas Sá's late challenge caught a Derribadinha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Sá helped the player get up and apologised. Jonas Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Silvinho Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Camargo in the 45th minute of play. Silvinho Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Metropolitano players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Derribadinha were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcinho Tavares made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Derribadinha's goal looked a bit too open when Marcinho Tavares came free, but Téo Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Metropolitano booed when Derribadinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 minutes, Frédson Moura made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Derribadinha's Téo Braga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcinho Tavares charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcinho Tavares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd match minute, Metropolitano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcinho Tavares to maneuver through the defense. Samuel Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Silvinho Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Brasil in the 67th minute of play. Marcinho Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Téo Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Luiz Fernando Cruz suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Nicolas Alcântara fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Derribadinha's protests and gave Nicolas Alcântara a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe Brasil in the 77th minute of play forced Metropolitano's goalkeeper Silvinho Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvinho Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Brasil in the 82nd minute of the match. A collision led to Metropolitano getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Nilton Trancoso hit a great ball. Samuel Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Derribadinha's Cipriano Aguiar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 85th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Silvinho Corrêa but with some difficulty. Hélio Camargo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Silvinho Corrêa made a huge save. After 96 minutes, Diamantino de Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Derribadinha and the Metropolitano players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute, one of Derribadinha:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Derribadinha. The referee gave Metropolitano a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marcinho Tavares, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Derribadinha's Téo Braga. 3-4. Derribadinha's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
