Álvaro Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráuzio Lara in the 4th minute of play. A hard shot 5 in the game by Vivaldo Nascimento from a close distance when the talented Álvaro Tinoco managed to make a qualified save. NOVO F.C's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, NOVO F.C's Kauã Magalhães got a free kick in the 7th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Promissao's Valério Vidal tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, NOVO F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Garcia came free, but Álvaro Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When NOVO F.C's Raimundo Bertassi in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Promissao's goalie prevented a goal. In the 17th minute Raimundo Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Didi do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Bertassi in the 20th minute of play. Raimundo Bertassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gabriel França fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NOVO F.C's protests and gave Gabriel França a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Promissao booed when NOVO F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel França didn't get a good kick on the ball. Décio Garcia's late challenge caught a NOVO F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Décio Garcia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Décio Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When NOVO F.C's Raimundo Bertassi in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Promissao's goalie prevented a goal. When Agostinho Barros came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the NOVO F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agostinho Barros couldn't finish the play. Agostinho Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Gabriel França ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Didi do Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. NOVO F.C's Raimundo Bertassi got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agostinho Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Didi do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half NOVO F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Raimundo Bertassi made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Raimundo Bertassi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Didi do Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráuzio Lara in the 58th minute of play forced NOVO F.C's goalkeeper Álvaro Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel França hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Raimundo Bertassi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Raimundo Bertassi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Didi do Vale. Raimundo Bertassi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Vivaldo Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Tinoco having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nildo Melo during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 77 played minutes NOVO F.C got a freekick which was hit by Nildo Melo. After a defensive mix-up in NOVO F.C's zone, Vivaldo Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro Tinoco came out of the goal and Vivaldo Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. NOVO F.C's Raimundo Bertassi got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Didi do Vale was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Raimundo Bertassi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 93 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded NOVO F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Promissao.
