With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno de Almeida in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnaldo Rocha saved Lork Fênix from getting behind. In the 6th minute, Carlos Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute, Gualter Moraes made a precise shot to the right of João Augusto de Sena. Ameliopolis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Cacá Eger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Augusto de Sena having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Ameliopolis's Oséas Matos got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 26 minutes, Váldson Tróia made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Ameliopolis's João Augusto de Sena tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Cacá Eger notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Ameliopolis's João Augusto de Sena. João Augusto de Sena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gualter Moraes scored 0-5 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Augusto de Sena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Bruno de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Váldson Tróia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Lork Fênix's Cacá Eger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. A hard shot 56 in the game by Váldson Tróia from a close distance when the talented João Augusto de Sena managed to make a qualified save. Ameliopolis's players were relieved. Gualter Moraes might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Augusto de Sena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gualter Moraes ran back to his position shaking his head. João Augusto de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Váldson Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Augusto de Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter Moraes in the 70th minute of the match. Cacá Eger struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. João Augusto de Sena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lork Fênix. When Benedito Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ameliopolis's protests and gave Benedito Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th match minute, Ameliopolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedito Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ameliopolis's zone, Váldson Tróia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Augusto de Sena came out of the goal and Váldson Tróia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the match, Cacá Eger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Augusto de Sena. Ameliopolis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cacá Eger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. If Cacá Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Ameliopolis fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lork Fênix were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
