Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adilson Braga kicked off to start the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Chico Bastos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paredes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chico Bastos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olaf Naujasodis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Afonsinho Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvaldo Trancoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Celsinho Paulista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olaf Naujasodis's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Dadá Rosa hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. If Olaf Naujasodis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Lejeado FC's zone, Chico Bastos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celsinho Paulista came out of the goal and Chico Bastos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Dominik Kasperowicz came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Paredes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dominik Kasperowicz couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Olaf Naujasodis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celsinho Paulista. Lejeado FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olaf Naujasodis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olaf Naujasodis in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celsinho Paulista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edvaldo Trancoso made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Nelson Alcântara sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Lejeado FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Reinaldo Fantini hit a great ball. When Paredes's Olaf Naujasodis in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lejeado FC's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olaf Naujasodis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Dadá Rosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paredes and the Lejeado FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 53 played minutes, Lejeado FC's William Campidelis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edvaldo Trancoso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lejeado FC reached it. After a rather tough play, Paredes's Chico Bastos got a free kick in the 55th minute. Lejeado FC's Celsinho Paulista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Lejeado FC from getting a goal against them. William Campidelis made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paredes's Chico Bastos. With an all-out effort, Paredes's Celsinho Paulista threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Olaf Naujasodis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Olaf Naujasodis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celsinho Paulista having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Alcântara in the 65th minute of play forced Paredes's goalkeeper Edvaldo Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonsinho Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonsinho Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th match minute, Lejeado FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonsinho Barros to maneuver through the defense. Olaf Naujasodis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Celsinho Paulista skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nelson Alcântara hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Celsinho Paulista had great luck who in the 72ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Olaf Naujasodis from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a rather tough play, Paredes's Frank Luz got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lejeado FC's goalkeeper Celsinho Paulista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paredes's Erik Klaasen got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonsinho Barros in the 87th minute of play forced Paredes's goalkeeper Edvaldo Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olaf Naujasodis in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Celsinho Paulista, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Edvaldo Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tales Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Paredes players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
