In the 8th match minute, AC Itaborai Uniteer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válter Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. Abel Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Jerzy Rzeszutek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Carlos Paulista went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 15th minute, João Carlos Paulista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerzy Rzeszutek was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 20 minutes into the match, Ramalho EC's Valdomiro Lucas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abel Penha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Diogo Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerzy Rzeszutek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeferson Rosado in the 30th minute of the match. If Diogo Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AC Itaborai Uniteer's Abel Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Macedo in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeferson Rosado in the 41st minute of play forced Ramalho EC's goalkeeper Jerzy Rzeszutek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdomiro Lucas charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdomiro Lucas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeferson Rosado to strike the kick off in the second half. Felipe Martxelin's late challenge caught a AC Itaborai Uniteer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Martxelin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ramalho EC's Felipe Martxelin got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Ramalho EC's Hélder Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to AC Itaborai Uniteer getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Edmundo Lara hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Macedo in the 65th minute of play forced AC Itaborai Uniteer's goalkeeper Abel Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélder Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Abel Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélder Alves took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abel Penha. Abel Penha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Hélder Alves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Penha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. AC Itaborai Uniteer's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Diogo Macedo scored to the left of an out of position Abel Penha, making the score, 2-2. In the 86th minute Jeferson Rosado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Rzeszutek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diogo Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramalho EC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
