An unexpectedly hard shot by Juvenal Novaes in the 45th minute of play forced Oval Swarovski Crystal's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Sαℓvє o Tricσℓσr Pαυℓisτα were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelinho Dias was the one to do the kick off. In the 66th minute, Mateo Kovacic ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Fabiano Alagoano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 78th minute of the match, Nildo Fontes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luiz Fabiano Alagoano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
