Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Viseu's Dedê Azevedo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Viseu's Matías Prado seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Matías Prado the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Viseu protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Matías Prado had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 6 played minutes Viseu got a freekick which was hit by Matías Prado. In the 7th minute, Filipe de Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedrinho Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lúcio Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Filipe de Medeiros reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amadeu Ramos. The goal made the score 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Viseu's goalkeeper Amadeu Ramos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filipe de Medeiros. In the 19th minute, Filipe de Medeiros made a precise shot to the right of Amadeu Ramos. Viseu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. With a little luck, Viseu's Amadeu Ramos got control of the ball when Jerônimo Mello tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute Valdir Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Viseu's goalkeeper Amadeu Ramos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerônimo Mello. 32 minutes into the match, Viseu's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe de Medeiros came free, but Amadeu Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdir Lago in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeu Ramos saved Viseu from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, Viseu's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe de Medeiros came free, but Amadeu Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tupanci's Valdir Lago got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Dedê Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Jerônimo Mello from long distance, 40 minutes into the match, got Amadeu Ramos's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerônimo Mello was the one to do the kick off. Dito Nogueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeu Ramos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Amadeu Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerônimo Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 minutes, Geraldo Lopes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tupanci and the Viseu players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Geraldo Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dedê Azevedo got free with Lúcio Salles in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedrinho Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulysses de Medeiros made in the 60th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dito Nogueira. Amadeu Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adhemar Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdir Lago in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeu Ramos saved Viseu from getting behind. Amadeu Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe de Medeiros in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Tupanci getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jonas Félix hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Júlio Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Viseu's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe de Medeiros came free, but Amadeu Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Tupanci's goal looked a bit too open when Percival Peixoto came free, but Lúcio Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerônimo Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdir Lago in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeu Ramos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valdir Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Amadeu Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Jerônimo Mello notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Viseu's Amadeu Ramos. Amadeu Ramos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amadeu Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Motta in the 95th minute of play. Tupanci's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
