Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cesinha Souza started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mathias Félix came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Itanhenga AD's Cesinha Souza. But to his dismay, Cesinha Souza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 7th minute, José Carlos Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tiago Gabriel Gaúcho came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Faral EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiago Gabriel Gaúcho couldn't finish the play. When Faral EC's Tiago Gabriel Gaúcho in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itanhenga AD's goalie prevented a goal. When Alexandre Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itanhenga AD's protests and gave Alexandre Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. Silvério Mumbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otávio Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Faral EC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Lauro Maia hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Lauro Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lauro Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvério Mumbach having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Otávio Oliveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvério Mumbach was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. If Otávio Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvério Mumbach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Gaúcho in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Otávio Oliveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Queirós hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Itanhenga AD's Silvério Mumbach got control of the ball when Otávio Oliveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tiago Gabriel Gaúcho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Silvério Mumbach managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Faral EC's Otávio Oliveira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Itanhenga AD's Ernesto Queirós got a free kick in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Itanhenga AD's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Gabriel Gaúcho came free, but Silvério Mumbach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, one of Itanhenga AD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. José Carlos Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Silvério Mumbach didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Otávio Oliveira went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute of the match, Otávio Oliveira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Silvério Mumbach was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 96th minute Rafa dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafa dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Mathias Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
