Mosquitinho
Spectators: 7226 (Terracing: 5421, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Célio Falcão started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Mosquitinho's Nico Velasco got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 4 played minutes, Quilombo Tomé Nunes's Tales Velasco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Diguinho de Souza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quilombo Tomé Nunes reached it. 7 minutes into the game, Mosquitinho's Gugu Tavares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walmir Tepedino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to Mosquitinho getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Gugu Tavares hit a great ball. Dinei Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diguinho de Souza having to interfere. Cristiano da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano da Costa in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diguinho de Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 20 minutes, Cristiano da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quilombo Tomé Nunes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano da Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dinei Paulista scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diguinho de Souza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umberto Moura in the 33rd minute of play forced Quilombo Tomé Nunes's goalkeeper Walmir Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diguinho de Souza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dinei Paulista's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. The Quilombo Tomé Nunes fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Quilombo Tomé Nunes's Cristiano da Costa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Walmir Tepedino was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Célio Falcão capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Célio Falcão really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristiano da Costa to strike the kick off in the second half. Luís Fernando Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diguinho de Souza having to interfere. After 53 minutes, Cristiano da Costa made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Mosquitinho's Diguinho de Souza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute Dinei Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diguinho de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Quilombo Tomé Nunes's Dinei Paulista in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mosquitinho's goalie prevented a goal. Diguinho de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinei Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 minutes, Dinei Paulista made it 2-5 with a short kick to the right side. Mosquitinho's Diguinho de Souza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 71 in the game by Cristiano da Costa from a close distance when the talented Diguinho de Souza managed to make a qualified save. Mosquitinho's players were relieved. Cristiano da Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Diguinho de Souza made a huge save. Dinei Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristiano da Costa in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Diguinho de Souza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Walmir Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umberto Moura in the 84th minute of play. Diguinho de Souza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dinei Paulista showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-6 in the 87 minute of play. Dinei Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Mosquitinho fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Quilombo Tomé Nunes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
