Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Pedro Luís Rosa notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Jutica's Nestor Moreira. Nestor Moreira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Laerte Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro got free with Carlinhos Palmeira in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th match minute, MONTALVAO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Paulo Silva to maneuver through the defense. Jutica's Laerte Mattos got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joélson Bastos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nestor Moreira. Jutica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nestor Moreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcinho Penha went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute Artur Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Pedro Luís Rosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 21 minutes, Artur Mesquita made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Jutica's Nestor Moreira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Laerte Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. MONTALVAO FC's Carlinhos Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Coelho in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the Jutica defense, Artur Mesquita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Moreira. The Jutica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Moreira should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd match minute, Jutica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Coelho to maneuver through the defense. The MONTALVAO FC fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when MONTALVAO FC's Artur Mesquita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pedrinho Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos Palmeira having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Jutica's Cristian Velloso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlinhos Palmeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Luís Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 56 played minutes MONTALVAO FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcinho Penha. After having played for 60 minutes, Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jutica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlinhos Palmeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laerte Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thiago Valladares made in the 76th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gerson Almeida. In the 79th match minute, MONTALVAO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcinho Penha to maneuver through the defense. Pedrinho Coelho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlinhos Palmeira having to make a save. Pedrinho Coelho struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Carlinhos Palmeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jutica. If Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chants of MONTALVAO FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Jutica had held the ball for most of the match.
