Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Artur Mesquita started the match with the kick off. Carlinhos Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Mesquitas short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Michel Guedes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gustavo Secco's late challenge caught a MONTALVAO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Secco helped the player get up and apologised. Gustavo Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Varela in the 10th minute of play forced MONTALVAO FC's goalkeeper Carlinhos Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FANATICRUZ's Michel Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Alves in the 12th minute of play. Pedro Luís Rosa hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Artur Mesquita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Michel Guedes, 1-0. Marcinho Penha's late challenge caught a FANATICRUZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcinho Penha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Marcinho Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artur Mesquita got free with Michel Guedes in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Artur Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Michel Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Oscar Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Guedes having to interfere. Oswaldo Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michel Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Oswaldo Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Anselmo Porto made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artur Mesquita in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michel Guedes saved FANATICRUZ from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artur Mesquita in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michel Guedes saved FANATICRUZ from getting behind. After 59th play minutes Artur Mesquita shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Michel Guedes and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 62 minutes, Artur Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MONTALVAO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Mesquita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artur Mesquita in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Guedes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 76 minutes, Artur Mesquita made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. FANATICRUZ's Michel Guedes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Artur Mesquita took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michel Guedes. Michel Guedes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Michel Guedes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artur Mesquita's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute, Marcinho Penha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, MONTALVAO FC's Pedro Luís Rosa got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 95 played minutes MONTALVAO FC got a freekick which was hit by Nilton Seco. When the referee ended the match the MONTALVAO FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
