Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Acácio Dante got the match started through his kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Palmacia's goal looked a bit too open when Laerte Mattos came free, but Percy Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Palmacia's zone, Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Percy Loyola came out of the goal and Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thiago Valladares hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. If Vânderson Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro in the 17th minute of play forced Palmacia's goalkeeper Percy Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Jutica's Cristian Velloso got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 25th match minute, Palmacia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acácio Dante to maneuver through the defense. Pedrinho Coelho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Percy Loyola having to make a save. Laerte Mattos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Percy Loyola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Flavinho dos Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Percy Loyola. Palmacia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Amadeu Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Loyola having to interfere. When Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Jutica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro couldn't finish the play. After the first half Jutica were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Acácio Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Moreira having to interfere. Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 53rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 54 minutes into the game, Jutica's Laerte Mattos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Percy Loyola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 57th minute, Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Pedrinho Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Percy Loyola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jutica. In the 63rd minute, Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerson Almeida got free with Percy Loyola in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, Palmacia's goal looked a bit too open when Laerte Mattos came free, but Percy Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Jutica's Laerte Mattos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Percy Loyola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Gerson Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jutica's protests and gave Gerson Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Jutica's Gerson Almeida got a free kick in the 75th minute. If Laerte Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 minutes of play, Jutica's Laerte Mattos made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Percy Loyola was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Percy Loyola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute, Laerte Mattos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Percy Loyola, passed just outside the right post. 91 minutes in the game, Pedrinho Coelho fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Percy Loyola having to interfere. Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Percy Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Percy Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laerte Mattos in the 94th minute of the match. Jutica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gerson Almeida in the 96th minute. Jutica's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
