Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Armandinho de Godoy kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Conquistense FC's zone, José Maria Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Neiva came out of the goal and José Maria Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute of the match Emílio Hermes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abel Neiva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mineiros Esporte Clube's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
