Natã Meireles's late challenge caught a Adidas City FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natã Meireles helped the player get up and apologised. Natã Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Kauã Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute of the match, Kauã Barbosa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thomás Almeida saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Adidas City FC's Dalmo Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natã Meireles in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 60th minute, Natã Meireles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulisses Monteiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, Araticum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. After 76 played minutes Araticum got a freekick which was hit by Nelson Azevedo. In the 77th minute Kauã Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Araticum's Natã Meireles ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dalmo Queirós. Dalmo Queirós yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 88 minutes into the game, Aílton Mandrak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dalmo Queirós. Aílton Mandrak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 93rd play minute Natã Meireles came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dalmo Queirós. 1-3. The Araticum supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Araticum would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
