Spectators: 7229 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Power Guido FC's Emerson de Sena started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Almeida during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Power Guido FC! Tostes FC's Edvin Alström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson de Sena in the 8th minute of play. Tostes FC were furious when Gildo Goiano was red carded, 10 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Power Guido FC. Reynaldo Montenegro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Edvin Alström. 1-1. José Almeida was shown his second yellow card after 14 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. José Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Lenílson Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Lenílson Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Power Guido FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lenílson Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th match minute, Power Guido FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenílson Silveira to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute of the match, Lenílson Silveira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edvin Alström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lenílson Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lenílson Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 played minutes Power Guido FC got a freekick which was hit by Lenílson Silveira. Power Guido FC's Mauro Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulinho Vianna in the 36th minute of play. After 38 minutes of play, Tostes FC's Paulinho Vianna made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauro Félix was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mauro Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho Vianna, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Paulinho Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauro Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho Vianna in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulinho Vianna made a kick off. Paulinho Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 minutes, Oscar Figueiredo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Power Guido FC and the Tostes FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mauro Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho Vianna in the 60th minute of the match. Paulinho Vianna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Félix having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Tostes FC's Paulinho Vianna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mauro Félix. That made the score 1-4 after 65 minutes of play. If Paulinho Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulinho Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Mauro Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Power Guido FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Paulinho Vianna 72 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-5. Mauro Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho Vianna, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Power Guido FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Paulinho Vianna 80 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-6. Mauro Félix stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulinho Vianna's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Lenílson Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Edvin Alström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulinho Vianna in the 86th minute of play forced Power Guido FC's goalkeeper Mauro Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulinho Vianna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tostes FC's Dida Salgado got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulinho Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Andrychowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Mauro Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tostes FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
