The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match Jefferson Mendes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romeu Guimarães skillfully saved the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in The Dark Knight F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! The Dark Knight F.C:s Romeu Guimarães showed great skill when he stopped José Paulo de Toledo:s penalty. In the 11th minute, Luís Guilherme Passos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. William da Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Miroslaw Dzierwa took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised William da Silva. William da Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Nilmar Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William da Silva having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Miroslaw Dzierwa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Luís Guilherme Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Real Matismo F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Miroslaw Dzierwa came free, but William da Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. César Donatello's late challenge caught a The Dark Knight F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. César Donatello helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Real Matismo F.C's César Donatello got a free kick in the 34th minute. William da Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslaw Dzierwa in the 36th minute of the match. If Dé Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Freddy Gasteiz came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the The Dark Knight F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Gasteiz couldn't finish the play. The supporters of The Dark Knight F.C booed when Real Matismo F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matías Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Freddy Gasteiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Dark Knight F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Gasteiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William da Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. William da Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miroslaw Dzierwa's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. After the first half The Dark Knight F.C were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Felipe Breckenfeld made the kick off in the second half. Alex Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adhemar Travassos charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adhemar Travassos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Real Matismo F.C booed when The Dark Knight F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adhemar Travassos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Dark Knight F.C's Romeu Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Breckenfeld in the 58th minute of play. After 59 minutes The Dark Knight F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was José Paulo de Toledo who took care of the corner kick. The crowd rose to their feet as The Dark Knight F.C's Miroslaw Dzierwa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of William da Silva. That made the score 0-3 after 65 minutes of play. In the 73rd minute, César Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. William da Silva made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Luís Guilherme Passos sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Real Matismo F.C's Zé Roberto Jacinto got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rdth minute of the game Miroslaw Dzierwa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Matismo F.C's William da Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Real Matismo F.C's zone, Nilmar Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William da Silva came out of the goal and Nilmar Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. William da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Gasteiz in the 86th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, The Dark Knight F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilmar Almeida to maneuver through the defense. José Paulo de Toledo, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Dark Knight F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
