The referee ignored Carius SC's protests and gave Marco Vieira a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Carius SC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Marco Vieira hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Chicão Brodel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Váldson Cerezo. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Váldson Cerezo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cauan Meirelles in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Vasconcelos in the 24th minute of play forced Posangue's goalkeeper Gustavo Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Angelo Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Posangue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Posangue's zone, Angelo Vasconcelos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Goiano came out of the goal and Angelo Vasconcelos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustavo Goiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toninho Vander's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Posangue's Gustavo Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Vander in the 32nd minute of play. Angelo Vasconcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Goiano having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Carius SC's Angelo Vasconcelos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustavo Goiano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st minute Toninho Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cauan Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Váldson Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chicão Brodel made a kick off. Carius SC's Váldson Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauan Meirelles in the 52nd minute of play. Marco Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Váldson Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauan Meirelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 played minutes Carius SC got a freekick which was hit by Simão Secco. The audience was convinced that Cauan Meirelles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Váldson Cerezo was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Carius SC's zone, Cauan Meirelles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Váldson Cerezo came out of the goal and Cauan Meirelles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simão Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Toninho Vanders short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Gustavo Goiano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Toninho Vander struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Gustavo Goiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carius SC. Angelo Vasconcelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Carius SC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Posangue from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
