After 31 minutes of play, Sander's Armandinho Rocha made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vânderson Berger was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 37 minutes, Joaquim Teles mouthed his way into the referee's book. Kauan Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armandinho Rocha scored 5-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vânderson Berger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Itaperu AD were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Sander's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sidnei Tasso took the corner. Fortunato Chizzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulisses de Castro in the 85th minute of the match. When Claudinho Severo fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sander's protests and gave Claudinho Severo a yellow card for diving instead.
