Gonçalo Simões who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Zé Roberto Siqueira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Gonçalo Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. Florsina's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonçalo Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Roberto Siqueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelinho Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After recieving a nice pass, Florsina's Frederico Rodrigues tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gonçalo Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelinho Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Roberto Siqueira was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Marcelinho Amorim capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcelinho Amorim really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Júlio Diniz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Germano Linares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Florsina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Travassos to maneuver through the defense. Zé Roberto Siqueira made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Gonçalo Simões sent off a good shot on target. Caramuru's Zé Roberto Siqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelinho Amorim in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Fellipe Meireles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caramuru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Marcelinho Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Roberto Siqueira having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelinho Amorim made a kick off. A collision led to Caramuru getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jânio de Barros hit a great ball. Zé Roberto Siqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Marcelinho Amorim sped through Caramuru's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zé Roberto Siqueira. The audience thought a goal was coming when Júlio Diniz got free with Germano Linares in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zé Roberto Siqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelinho Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Florsina booed when Caramuru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olívio Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Marcelinho Amorim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Roberto Siqueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Zé Roberto Siqueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Simões in the 83rd minute of the match. Zé Roberto Siqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelinho Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Caramuru's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Simões came free, but Zé Roberto Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Simões in the 88th minute of play forced Caramuru's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Siqueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Florsina fully deserved thier win.
