After 44th play minutes Renan Alagoano shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Nestor Moreira and just under the crossbar into goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Wellington Nogueira made the kick off in the second half. One of Fluminense do Itaum:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cacarongonga FC:s goal. In the 92nd minute, Tiago Gabriel da Silveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cacarongonga FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
