Cláudio Lopes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Hélio Guedes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zé Roberto Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robinho de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. A collision led to Juventus FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Robinho de Carvalho hit a great ball. In the 21st minute of the match Cléber Donato sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hélio Guedes skillfully saved the ball. In the 22nd minute Cláudio Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Matías Vale came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Juventus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matías Vale couldn't finish the play. Conrado Meira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juventus FC's Conrado Meira got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hélio Guedes made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Cláudio Lopes sent off a good shot on target. NONUS CANEM's Cláudio Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the game, Cláudio Lopes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hélio Guedes. Cláudio Lopes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Cláudio Lopes made the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Cláudio Lopes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NONUS CANEM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Tugay Maksut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hélio Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tugay Maksut in the 73rd minute of play. Tugay Maksut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Hélio Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. NONUS CANEM's Cláudio Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Conrado Meira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Zé Roberto Prata made a huge save. After 83 minutes of play, NONUS CANEM's Cláudio Lopes made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hélio Guedes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tugay Maksut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Toninho Barreto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NONUS CANEM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventus FC the free kick. Cássio Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Cláudio Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. NONUS CANEM fully deserved thier win.
