In the 8th match minute, The Wall S.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir Marquez to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in The Wall S.C's zone, Tiago Gabriel Saldanha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Carvalho came out of the goal and Tiago Gabriel Saldanha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute Evaristo Favoretto suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 15th match minute, Coary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anderson Prestes to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 19 minutes, Nestor da Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A well-hit corner resulted in Tiago Gabriel Saldanha heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 32nd minute Nestor da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitório Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Pena got free with Luiz Carvalho in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute of the match, Bruno Pena got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luiz Carvalho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
