Vitório Matorin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Bruno Pena took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedrinho Capixaba. Pedrinho Capixaba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Doni Mandrak might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vitório Matorin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Doni Mandrak ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedrinho Capixaba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiago Gabriel Saldanha went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Bruno Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coary's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Pena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrinho Capixaba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Asgard fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Asgard's Délio Freire looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bruno Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doni Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitório Matorin having to interfere. Coary's Vitório Matorin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Coary from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute, Matheus Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Coary's zone, Doni Mandrak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitório Matorin came out of the goal and Doni Mandrak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 42 played minutes Coary got a freekick which was hit by Lauro da Fonseca. In the 47th minute, Coary's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Délio Freire fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiago Gabriel Saldanha was the one to do the kick off. Doni Mandrak struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Vitório Matorin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asgard. Flavinho Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Tiago Gabriel Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Pena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Délio Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Vitório Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Coary's Tiago Gabriel Saldanha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedrinho Capixaba. That made the score 2-3 after 84 minutes of play. When Toninho Moreira fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Asgard's protests and gave Toninho Moreira a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes Asgard got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Moreira. After recieving a nice pass, Coary's Hélder de Andrade tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Vitório Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doni Mandrak in the 95th minute of play. Délio Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
