After 30 played minutes Società Sportiva Palestra got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Gonçalves. In the 31st minute, Società Sportiva Palestra's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cléber de Amorim fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Società Sportiva Palestra's Yan Chaves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Società Sportiva Palestra from getting a goal against them. Erasmo Gonçalves hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 36 played minutes, Pebas FC's Giuseppe Severo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yan Chaves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pebas FC reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas de Brito in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yan Chaves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeferson Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Jeferson Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas de Brito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Cléber de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Juan Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Lucas de Brito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yan Chaves was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Lucas de Brito put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Yan Chaves. Juan Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pebas FC had played much better football throughout.
