Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Manfredo Faria got the match started through his kick off. Quicamar EC's Carlos Fernando de Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 6 minutes, Walmir Breckenfeld mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atléticos do Paraíso FC and the Quicamar EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Walmir Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Fernando de Senna might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kauan Neves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Fernando de Senna ran back to his position shaking his head. Romário de Queirós hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Carlos Fernando de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Kauan Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manfredo Faria might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kauan Neves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manfredo Faria ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlos Fernando de Senna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kauan Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Manfredo Faria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kauan Neves was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 23rd minute, Rogério Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Manfredo Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Loyola in the 28th minute of play forced Quicamar EC's goalkeeper Sandrinho Pernambucano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manfredo Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Quicamar EC's Andrézinho Félix suffered a sore thigh after 32 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 32 minutes, Rogério Vasconcelos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atléticos do Paraíso FC and the Quicamar EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rogério Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Quicamar EC's Carlos Fernando de Senna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kauan Neves. Kauan Neves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With a little luck, Atléticos do Paraíso FC's Kauan Neves got control of the ball when Carlos Fernando de Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flávio Loyola made a kick off. Carlos Fernando de Senna took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kauan Neves. Kauan Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Carlos Fernando de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Kauan Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flávio Toledo scored 3-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kauan Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kauan Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Fernando de Senna in the 78th minute of the match. Kauan Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Décio Abraão, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Romário de Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atléticos do Paraíso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romário de Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Quicamar EC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Atléticos do Paraíso FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
