Aloísio Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Freitas in the 16th minute of the match. Humberto Costa hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute of the match, Renan Dracena got a very nice opportunity to score, but Thiago Pires was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 19 minutes into the match, Virmond's goalkeeper Thiago Pires had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renan Dracena. Thiago Pires didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 32nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan Dracena in the 95th minute of play forced Virmond's goalkeeper Thiago Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Umarizeira AD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Virmond had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
