Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carlos Fernando Varela kicked off to start the match. Zé Pedro Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edu Dias having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Fernando Varela in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodrigo Furlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodrigo Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazinho Brasil in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazinho Brasil in the 12th minute of play forced FC Inter United's goalkeeper Rodrigo Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edu Dias made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Zé Pedro Abreu sent off a good shot on target. If Valdemar Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Pedro Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Dito Terra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18 played minutes Guayanas got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Varela. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Zé Pedro Abreu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Amadeu Furtado hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Zé Pedro Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Inter United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Pedro Abreu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Zé Pedro Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Valdemar Britto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edu Dias was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdemar Britto to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, FC Inter United's Agostinho Macedo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Agostinho Macedo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Inter United protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Agostinho Macedo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Inter United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! 58 minutes into the match, FC Inter United's goalkeeper Rodrigo Furlan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mazinho Brasil. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Zé Pedro Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Inter United's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Pedro Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edu Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enio Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Edu Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Pedro Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mazinho Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enio Montenegro in the 72nd minute of play forced Guayanas's goalkeeper Edu Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the FC Inter United defense, Mazinho Brasil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Furlan. The FC Inter United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Furlan should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Fernando Varela in the 78th minute of play forced FC Inter United's goalkeeper Rodrigo Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC Inter United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. In the 91st minute, Zé Pedro Abreu made a precise shot to the right of Edu Dias. Guayanas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Inter United had played much better football throughout.
