Adolfo Alves might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reginaldo Donatello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolfo Alves ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Cavalo negro's Reginaldo Donatello got control of the ball when Adolfo Alves tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Leonardo Trancoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reginaldo Donatello was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. After 9 minutes, Fiori Mendes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cavalo negro and the Campinhos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes Cavalo negro got a freekick which was hit by Fiori Mendes. Reginaldo Donatello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Alves in the 11th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Trancoso in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reginaldo Donatello saved Cavalo negro from getting behind. Luiz Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Catarinense in the 13th minute of the match. Cavalo negro's Reginaldo Donatello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Trancoso in the 17th minute of play. Leonardo Trancoso took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reginaldo Donatello. Reginaldo Donatello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Mateus Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Cavalo negro's Reginaldo Donatello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Ribeiro in the 26th minute of play. If Leonardo Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Cavalo negro got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Queiroz. Cavalo negro's Reginaldo Donatello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizão Veiga in the 31st minute of play. Reginaldo Donatello was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Diego Ribeiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. When Leonardo Trancoso came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Campinhos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Trancoso couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, Cavalo negro's goalkeeper Reginaldo Donatello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Alves. In the 45th minute Leonardo Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reginaldo Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute, one of Campinhos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Campinhos. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Trancoso to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Trancoso in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reginaldo Donatello saved Cavalo negro from getting behind. After having played for 57 minutes, Adolfo Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campinhos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Alves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Luizão Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Campinhos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luizão Veiga couldn't finish the play. José Carlos Maciel's late challenge caught a Campinhos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reginaldo Donatello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Alves went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. 89 minutes into the match, Leonardo Trancoso notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Cavalo negro's Reginaldo Donatello. Reginaldo Donatello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Leonardo Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95thth minute of the game Leonardo Trancoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cavalo negro's Reginaldo Donatello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Trancoso in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reginaldo Donatello saved Cavalo negro from getting behind.
