Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Erik Esteves made the kick off which started today's match. When Alexandre Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Santana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Aguiar couldn't finish the play. The Santana FC fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Santana FC's Erik Esteves looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 1-1 became the score in the 22nd minute when Marcelo Toledo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Flávio Moreno came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Santana FC's Erik Esteves. But to his dismay, Erik Esteves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ciro Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Alexandre Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flávio Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Goyania SS's goalkeeper Flávio Moreno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Goyania SS's Ciro Paranaense ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Luiz de Mendonça. Pedro Luiz de Mendonça yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. In the 47thth minute of the game Alexandre Aguiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goyania SS's Flávio Moreno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Toledo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alexandre Aguiar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-4 in the 60th playminute. Flávio Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Esteves in the 64th minute of the match. With a little luck, Goyania SS's Flávio Moreno got control of the ball when Alexandre Aguiar tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Paulo Eger's late challenge caught a Goyania SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Paulo Eger helped the player get up and apologised. João Paulo Eger hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Marcelo Toledo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Luiz de Mendonça was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. The supporters of Santana FC booed when Goyania SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilmar Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Erik Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexandre Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Luiz de Mendonça stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danilo Palmeira's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Marcelo Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz de Mendonça having to interfere. If Marcelo Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Santana FC's Laércio Pitta got a free kick in the 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Marcelo Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goyania SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Toledo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Luiz de Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciro Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Pedro Luiz de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santana FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
