Ramiro Saldanha was extremely unlucky when he, in the 29th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Estrada Real's Raúl Trancoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Estrada Real from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute, Fiori Fernandes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 46th play minute Ramiro Saldanha came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Raúl Trancoso. 1-2. After the first half Estrada Real were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramiro Saldanha made a kick off. Fiori Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Granjeiro's Eduardo Teixeira got a free kick in the 56th minute. Fiori Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Raúl Trancoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Granjeiro. 63 minutes into the match, Dé Travassos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raúl Trancoso. Estrada Real's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dé Travassos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Severino Oliveira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ademar Ortiz. Granjeiro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 69th minute, Ricardo Custódio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pedro Augusto de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Eduardo Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúl Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Estrada Real's goal looked a bit too open when Fiori Fernandes came free, but Raúl Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evaristo Cardoso's late challenge caught a Granjeiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evaristo Cardoso helped the player get up and apologised. Evaristo Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When Delfim Tróia fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estrada Real's protests and gave Delfim Tróia a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Estrada Real's Delfim Tróia got a free kick in the 78th minute. Eduardo Teixeira hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute of the match Delfim Tróia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ademar Ortiz skillfully saved the ball. Cipriano Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademar Ortiz having to interfere. Raúl Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fiori Fernandes in the 83rd minute of the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Ramiro Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granjeiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Saldanha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Estrada Real's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Saldanha came free, but Raúl Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fiori Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92ndth minute of the game Ramiro Saldanha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estrada Real's Raúl Trancoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evaristo Cardoso was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 94th match minute, Estrada Real was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. Raúl Trancoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Saldanha's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Estrada Real succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Granjeiro had controlled the match.
