When Eugênio Mendonça fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Loisiania SS's protests and gave Eugênio Mendonça a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Cláudio Valadares put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Sílvio Toscano. Sílvio Toscano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cláudio Valadares went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Sílvio Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Valadares in the 20th minute of play. ELIAS ROSCIOLI SPORT CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wiliam Saldanha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Cláudio Valadares made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cláudio Valadares got free with Sílvio Toscano in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to ELIAS ROSCIOLI SPORT CLUB getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Wiliam Saldanha hit a great ball. Cláudio Valadares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Sílvio Toscano made a huge save. ELIAS ROSCIOLI SPORT CLUB were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Loisiania SS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Afonsinho Chaves took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Afonsinho Chaves got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sílvio Toscano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 69 minutes into the match, Cláudio Valadares dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sílvio Toscano, 1-5. Esteve Markel in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sílvio Toscano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Cláudio Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Cláudio Valadares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sílvio Toscano. That made the score 1-6 in the 81 minute of play. Cláudio Valadares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cláudio Valadares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Sílvio Toscano made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Wiliam Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot. ELIAS ROSCIOLI SPORT CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiliam Saldanha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio Toscano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cláudio Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Sílvio Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ELIAS ROSCIOLI SPORT CLUB's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
