Cláudio Valadares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Amauri Favoretto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cláudio Valadares made a kick off. Jano da Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Bezerra in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Valadares in the 56th minute of play forced Potira's goalkeeper Amauri Favoretto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Gonçalo Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renan Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Potira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cláudio Valadares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Potira's Amauri Favoretto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Saldanha in the 87th minute of play.
