After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Patrick Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itamuri's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernani Schmidt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Itamuri's Eusébio Marques got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Patrick Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Anselmo Brodel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itamuri's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Brodel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Brodel took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernani Schmidt. Hernani Schmidt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zeca Domingues made a kick off. Ibateguara SC's Douglas Ramos got his second yellow card of the match in the 55th minute. The referee ordered Douglas Ramos off the ground. A collision led to Ibateguara SC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Douglas Ramos hit a great ball. Ibateguara SC's Hernani Schmidt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Ibateguara SC from getting a goal against them. Igor Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Saraiva having to interfere. When Zeca Domingues fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ibateguara SC's protests and gave Zeca Domingues a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Itamuri's Eusébio Marques tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 64th match minute, Ibateguara SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Itamuri booed when Ibateguara SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ibateguara SC's zone, Anselmo Brodel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernani Schmidt came out of the goal and Anselmo Brodel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anselmo Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Madureira's late challenge caught a Itamuri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Madureira helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ibateguara SC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Jonas Madureira hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Ibateguara SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anselmo Brodel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 76th minute, Patrick Seco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hernani Schmidt. The goal made the score 0-3. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ibateguara SC's goalkeeper Hernani Schmidt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
